Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the possibility of using the discrete-event modeling method of a production system with constraints. Limitations are the productivity of aggregates operating in a linear system in the presence of a warehouse and a system for the shipment of manufactured products. To solve the problem, the authors propose an original software product developed in the programming language C #. The result of the program after modeling the work of the manufacturing workshop are the "bottlenecks" of the system in accordance with the theory of constraints. The use of software in production makes it possible to assess the current efficiency in terms of "constraint theory" and improve the efficiency of the production line. In addition to searching for “bottlenecks” in production, the software product is used for a prospective assessment of the need to install new aggregates and to assess other changes related to equipment and technological processes.
