Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify information characteristics that indicate the presence of defects in the planetary gearbox during vibration diagnostic process. In the study the main defects of high-speed gears of the planetary gearbox are identified: the shaking of the input and output shafts; defects of the drive gear; chips, cracks in the teeth; defects in lubrication of friction parts. The problem of technical diagnostics of newly manufactured planetary gearboxes using information characteristics is reviewed. For each type of defect of high-speed gears of a planetary gearbox, typical diagrams of vibration spectra are showed. Particular attention is given to the description of the detection of defects in the manufacture and assembly of planetary gearboxes. It is proved that the introduction of the control of the manufac-ture and assembly of reducers at the plant increases the service life and reduces the probability of equipment failure at the first stages of operation. The research was carried out using the planetary gearbox 2К-4Н.
