Abstract

This paper presents the description of the problems of the information society in Russia. A comparative analysis of the concept of "information" from the point of view of the sources using the term in various fields and at different stages of development of information theory. The justifications of the use of the term "knowledge" to the information provided in lexicographical sources. Determine the presence and structure of lexicographic knowledge.
